Description
The DSK-INET daughter card from Bitec brings high performance, simple internet connectivity to DSK based projects. Based on the latest Wiznet W5300 embedded internet controller, the DSK-INET removes the need for a software TCP/IP stack running in the DSP. An API based on standard Berkley Sockets functions using a minimal set of instructions integrate the W5300 seamlessly into the DSP/BIOS kernel with minimal processor intervention. Alternatively, the DSKINET will also support raw Ethernet packets allowing TCP/IP stack and protocol development.
Features
- Supports hardwired TCP/IP protocols : TCP,UDP, ICMP, IPv4, ARP, IGMPv2, PPPoE, Ethernet
- Supports 8 independent SOCKETs simultaneously
